About Me

My name's Vix, also known as Dojo.I’m quiet and reserved. A hermit who prefers to work independently, but still very kind, honest and trustworthy.I’m an experienced, lifelong video game veteran and self-taught artist who continues to learn and improve daily. My goal is to become an indie video game developer and a professional freelance character designer.Right now, I'm currently developing my original IP, Norm Breaker, which will originate as an indie game. It's release is still to be determined, but it’s a project I’m working on with a lot of hard work and care.

What I draw

  • Animals

  • Anti-art (It reduces stress)

  • Anything that I never drawn before (except for those that I won't draw, see below)

  • Black comedy/dark humor

  • Crossovers

  • Digital art

  • Fan art

  • Internet celebrities

  • Internet memes

  • Original art/characters

  • Parodies and satire

  • Seasonal outfits (inspired by games like Fire Emblem Heroes)

  • Sports

  • Traditional art

What I don't draw

  • Anything that is bad, deals with illegal subject matter or against my will.

  • Anything that is too weird. I stay out of trouble and away from negative influence.

  • Anything that is against my important rules.

  • Anything that is too explicit/pornographic/NSFW. (I may draw ecchi/fanservice and tasteful nudity, but nothing beyond that.)

  • Illegal subject matter, which is never acceptable.

  • Shock sites/images

  • Underage filth

Important regarding requests and art trades
I'm generally a nice artist, but don't spam and beg for when the request will be finished. It is best to be patient since I eventually draw and finish art that has been asked by others, as seen in my gallery. It is rude to rush artists in general when said artist is doing something nice for you. I work hard when drawing my work, and sometimes it takes a while to finish.
If you want to draw any of my original characters, such as those from my original series, look at their model sheets and the pictures I drew of them first. Also, if you want to draw me, then let me know first, but don't draw me without my consent. I have my boundaries and you need to respect them no matter if you like them or not.Though I was born as one of two genders, I'm still keeping my real gender/name a secret here for safety reasons so this is why I draw myself as with an androgynous look and body type.Important regarding gifts (including birthday gifts)
I sometimes draw gift art for artists I watch and for those who watch me due to them drawing amazing art and being kind to me in general, as long as I read their rules and FAQs first so that I understand their feelings and rules completely.
I'm aware that not every artist allows other people to draw their characters. so I want to make sure I know before I draw. If an artist allowed other artists to draw their characters before, then it should be no problem. If you don't want me to draw any of your characters, then I will stop and won't do it again.Send me a note if you have any questions or thoughts.I am not a fetish artist
The closest I can get to drawing fetishes would be muscles, sports, costumes, bubble blowing, parodies and different sizes, and I also draw stuff that is true to the source material (such as Yoshi or Kirby eating food), but that is it. Fetishes are weird, and I much rather not go that far.
I only draw anti art to reduce stress and for teh lulz
I only drew anti-art for satirical and cathartic purposes. I had to spread awareness on how awful certain things can be. It does not slander any person nor group of people. I know the rules and limits. You do not have to worry.
Fictional lives don't matter
It's better to protect innocent real lives rather than to be overprotective of fictional characters that you don't own (official fictional characters such as those from movies, shows, games, etc). Even though I protect my own fictional characters, I have the legal rights and reasons to, so is different. Remember the truth that fiction is not the same as real life, and therefor, fiction does not affect reality in my view.
Patience is the key
It is best to be patient since I'm very busy in life (such as drawing, playing video games, reading the latest news, spending time with family and all that good stuff) so do not bug/rush me about it.
I don't forget about what you want me to draw because I always have them in mind and won't forget. Don't worry about it, because once someone gives me an idea of what I should draw next, then I will draw and finish it as soon as possible. If you have anything to say to me, then send me a note or chat and then I'll answer.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is helpful when getting to know me and who I am.

Q: Why did you get an account on the sites you have?
A: As an experienced artist, it is to help get my art out there in the world. However, I'm still keeping my profile clean and well organized.
Q: Why did disable comments on your profile, and why don't you write and post comments yourself?
A: For safety. I do not want to be harassed and I follow the rule of "don't feed the trolls" carefully. Even if you try to comment on my profile, I will still delete the comments anyway. Not offending anyone, but this is for safety.
It is important that I stay away from toxic influence, flame wars, and drama. I also don't want to bother anyone, so you don't have to worry about that, either.Though I enable comments on my artwork. If you want to contact (and criticize) me, then the best thing is to send me a private note or chat since I prefer to communicate privately.Q: You don't go around talking to strangers, do you?
A: Nope. I just like to submit my art. It's nice that people like my work though, and that's fine with me. I occasionally chat or send a note to one of my watchers who like my art, and that's pretty much it. I'm not going to bother anybody, since I am very good about leaving other users alone. I will let other people/users be themselves and that's fine.
Q: Where do you get your ideas?
A: That should stay a secret since I much rather not be asked on where I get them, since everything that I draw are my own ideas. (Unless the description says otherwise) I do read a lot, offline and online. However, I will try to finish my work as soon as possible since I follow a deadline set up by myself.
Q: Do you even play the video games that you draw fanart of?
A: Yes, of course I do. I've been playing video games since I was a young child and has been the video game expert since. My interest in video games and franchises also have broadened over time, especially when it comes to a crossover game such as the Super Smash Bros. series, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Project X Zone 1 and 2. I also read professional reviews and am aware of the pros and cons of various games. As a historian, I would never grow out of anything that I actually like.
Q: Do you take requests?
A: Sometimes. I only take requests during the holiday season when I have the time.
Q: Do you take art trades?
A: Yes. I'm always open for art trades.
Q: Do you take commissions?
A: I only take point commissions on DeviantArt. I don't take other commissions unless it's free. I currently don't take paid commissions with real money because my money is for family only. Send me a note if you have any questions, and then I'll read it and see.
Q: Would you draw gift art for another user?
A: Yes, and this includes birthday gifts. Be sure to send me a note if you want one.
Q: Would you draw for a collab?
A: Yes.
Q: Would you draw for an art jam?
A: Yes.
Q: How many requests do you take at once from a requester?
A: Normally, I take one at a time. It is important to be patient because it is very rude to rush an artist when said artist is doing something nice for you. Once I finish the request, I will be ready to do more. Remember that it will take time for the drawing to be finished, so this is why it's best to be patient.
Q: Can requesters and art traders stay anonymous?
A: Only if they want to. When I draw and submit the requested artwork, I only mention their username in the description and nothing else.
Q: How many characters are allowed in a single drawing?
A: It depends. Drawing a large group of characters in a single drawing takes a longer time than a drawing of just one character, but I can do both.
Q: Are you (insert user here)?
A: Nope. I'm just me, Vix. Any similarities with another person is purely coincidental.
Q: What does your name mean?
A: "Vix" is actually an acronym of victory, intelligence and xylography, and also short for "victory fox". Has nothing to do with "vixen". "Dojo" refers to a dojo master or someone who trains at a dojo, which refers to me training myself when getting better at drawing and video game playing, or everything else I enjoy. My alias is either "Vix" or "Dojo", but I normally refer myself as "Vix".

Important Rules

  • I manage and control my own reputation.

  • I do not engage with drama or harassment. Leave me out of this mess.

  • My privacy is important. I'm trying to stay as anonymous as possible and am very careful about not sharing too much information.

  • Never ask for any personal information on me because it all stays private.

  • I have the right to protect and defend myself. Especially since I protect myself from online abuse and follow Internet safety practices.

  • I'm not your girlfriend/boyfriend/lover. Do not ask me for a date. I'm not a romance option. Truth is that I do not have a boyfriend/girlfriend/lover and never will because I am aromantic asexual and proud of who I am. I have no interest in getting into a relationship with anyone of either gender. You're not attracted to me, period. Go flirt with someone else.

  • You have no right to share links to my sites anywhere without my consent. It's best that you leave my stuff alone and never say a word if you don't like me.

  • You have no right to find and share my personal information. I keep that private. Other users, including my naysayers, are not allowed to find and know my real name, date of birth, hometown, home address, and other personal information. This is why I just go by an alias and only mention my home country (United States), and nothing more.

  • You have no right to call out against me in any shape or form. Especially since I did nothing wrong. Exposing me, writing a rant about how much you dislike me or call out on me in your journal, art, video, etc, will not be tolerated or else I'll tell you to delete it.

  • You have absolutely no right to mock me.

  • Remember that I'm immune to mockery and would never set myself up for such. If someone mocks me, I am known to fight back.

  • You have absolutely no right to troll me. Especially since I'm immune to trolling.

  • You can't milk me. I'm not a lolcow. Not only it is not acceptable to write such about me anywhere online, but the truth is that I'm immune to trolling as mentioned eariler. Go milk someone else for laughs.

  • You have no right to trace/fix my artwork without my consent. Especially since doing so is against the rules of any website.

  • I'm willing to control what others, especially my naysayers, think or say about me. So even in your personal opinion and imagination, I always tell the truth about myself.

  • Do not compare me to infamous and controversial online figures. Truth is that I am nothing like them. Especially since I strive not to be like them, without a doubt. This is why I'm being creative with my series/art and actually learn from my experiences.

  • I'm not cringe. If you don't like me, then don't say a word. It is not okay to put me or what I draw in any cringe compilations.

  • Do not write wiki articles on me. It will lead to doxxing, which is unacceptable.

  • Do not write forum threads on me. It will also lead to doxxing, which I'm never going to let that happen.

  • Doxxing me is strictly forbidden and impossible. Plus, doxxing is a crime. Never dox the 'Fox or else you are punished.

  • Hacking is never allowed. I value my privacy, which is important. I protect my stuff well (such as accounts) and fight back. You have been warned.

  • I'm not stuck in the past. Especially since I enjoy and stay up to date with the latest technology (such as playing the latest video games and systems in addition to all the older ones). Being a historian (which I am) is different than being stuck in the past.

  • I'm a human artist. All of my art is drawn by me. I would never steal other people's art in any form. Do not accuse me. I know that art theft is wrong, and this includes tracing.

  • I do not trace nor steal art. References and redraws are for learning, never theft. While some of my older art do certainly look like redraws or personal interpretations, they are still not traces nor theft. I only redraw or use references on occasion, but that should not be seen as a bad thing and I have long since improved as an artist over time and still continues to keep learning.

  • I'm not here to get attention. I draw because it is fun and helps me express myself to the world.

  • Do not report me, even if you don't like me. I'm not going to bother anyone. I don't want my account banned. Otherwise, I'll uplift the ban and will no longer be banned. I did nothing wrong.

  • Do not add me to any negative lists or such. I won't tolerate that and I'm far from being one of the worst. Trash talking about me in general will not be tolerated.

  • Do not warn other users against me and don't tell them to block me. I did nothing wrong and I'm not problematic. I do like to look at other people's art on the Internet. It's best to ignore or don't watch me if you don't like me or what I draw since blocking only adds more to Internet censorship, and we don't need any more of that seeing how online censorship has become a problem to a lot of people, especially the pro-free speech crowd. Blocking someone just because you don't like their art is also an act of cowardice, and the inflation of one's own ego. Blocking should only be used on users who are actually bad, such as spammers, sickos, dangerous users, and hackers, but not innocent artists such as myself. Whatever happened to "Don't like, don't look"?

  • I do not support NFTs. They are harmful to not only the environment, but also to your wallet.

  • I am not an AI Artist. Even though AI is just a tool and does have the potential to be used for good, such as answering questions, having fun and getting ideas, the truth is that none of my art that I post is AI generated. I'm a human artist, first and foremost.

  • I don't roleplay. Sorry if it's disappointing for those who want to roleplay, but it's just not my thing, especially not in public.

  • I always be myself. I don't pretend to be someone else. As said before, any similarities with me and another person is just a coincidence.

  • I don't lie. I tell the truth. While I may act naive and unpredictable sometimes, I still would never lie to anyone. I've known and followed the rules since the beginning, heck, long before I was online. Even if you think the whole "I tell the truth" thing is not entirely true, I'm generally honest and, for example, it is still the truth that I'm aromantic asexual. I'm not afraid to tell the truth, even if facts don't care about feelings.

More important rules regarding myself, my characters and creations

  • Species change for my characters is strictly forbidden and unacceptable. It is not okay to change the characters' species. My characters' species should be left alone for a good reason.

  • Never redesign them such as modifying their appearance or anything that may compromise their original design. However, it is fine if you draw them to be more easy to you such as simplifying their design. I also drew model sheets and written biographies for most of my characters so they're a must-read before you want to draw them. I know that you don't like being told what to do, but I was just giving out some truth.

  • No NSFW (not safe for work) art of any of my underage characters. Underage characters are not allowed to wear skimpy clothing such as bikinis and any midriff-barring and fetish-related outfits.

  • No NSFW (not safe for work) art or stories of any of my asexual characters. Asexual characters should never be shipped/paired up with themselves or other characters/people/etc either.

  • Absolutely NO NSFW (not safe for work) art of me, period. I am the sex-repulsed flavor of aromantic asexual, and will never tolerate myself nor the things I create being used in sexual content. Shipping me with someone (i.e. users, celebrities, other people, fictional characters) is illegal and not acceptable. Also, I do not wear midriff-barring or any other fetish-related outfits. Same goes for my underage and other asexual characters.

  • Absolutely do not make porn of me. This is forbidden. I'm an exception to that one rule on the Internet (you know what I'm talking about). This same rule goes for any underage and/or aromantic asexual original character that I create.

  • Don’t include me in artwork alongside infamous online figures and other infamous people. Never put me in a group pic with such people, especially since the truth is that I'm not a lolcow myself.

  • Hate art, troll art and kill art of me is strictly forbidden and unacceptable. Hate art, kill art and troll art of me and/or any good character that I created is off limits and will not be tolerated. Hate speech also does not work on me. There are exceptions to free speech and any form of hate speech against me is one of the exceptions. If someone were to trash talk about me, then I'll either report said someone or tell them to delete what they said about me. Doing so is also against the rules so it is better to not say anything about me at all if you don't like me or what I do. I'm also aware of the other site rules, too.

  • Adult (NSFW) fanfiction stories of me is also strictly forbidden and unacceptable.

  • No Pro-Lion King propaganda. This includes Lion King/Guard crossovers in a positive light. While I'm aware that not everyone dislikes that franchise unlike me, all I'm asking is that don't crossover my original characters with that franchise. Sorry, I just have a strong negative view on that franchise.

  • Norm Breaker's heroes should not betray each other. Their team bonds are strong and unbreakable. This means absolutely no traitors/betrayals when it comes to Norm Breaker's good/protagonist characters. And yes, this includes Mabaya, despite his "evil" looks and name (which is the Swahili word for "evil"), he is a good guy and not a villain. Same with the rest of the Norm Breaker squadron and their allies.

  • Official couples in Norm Breaker (such as Misuli/Cyan and Razor/Imbali) are not allowed to break up nor paired with anyone else other than each other. Their bonds give them strength after all.

You don't have to like my art if you don't want to. Just don't be mean about it. That is all.Rule of thumb: Don’t like me or my stuff? Then don't look. The back button is your friend. What if someone breaks your rules?
Then the rulebreaker will be reported and said rulebreaker is forced to delete everything he or she said about me.
I'm aware that not everyone is going to like what I draw or say, but that does not give you the right to call out against me in any shape or form. I did nothing wrong.I'm well aware about what I can and cannot post when it comes to the Internet, and I'm being very careful about it.Thanks for reading this and the fact that you have understood.

DNI (Do not interact)

I'm very good about being nice to other people and getting along with other users. On the other hand unfortunately, there are some individuals who are not-so good and I've been warned by some other people to stay away from them. These are the kinds that I stay away from, at all costs.

  • Acephobic people: Since I’m ace/aro ace/aromantic asexual.

  • Art thieves: Stealing from others is never good.

  • Scammers

  • Drama starters

  • Attention seekers

  • Beggars

  • Lolcows

  • Sexual role players: They are one of the reasons why I don't roleplay.

  • Hackers, doxxers and other dangerous users: Enough said!

  • My detractors: Unless they behave themselves and change their thoughts about me, it's better that I never interact with them just to be safe. All my detractors suck and are not good people, they don't have good points against me, and nothing more needs to be said on that. Yes, I know not everyone is going to like me or what I do, but that does not give them the right to call out against me... or worse.

  • Coomers: Do not act lustful towards other people. That’s unacceptable, since we have a life outside of the Internet.

  • Creeps, sickos, groomers, zoophiles and pedophiles: Enough said! Especially if they have creepy behavior.

  • Toxic shippers: Especially if they're proshippers

  • Proshippers in general Read this website for more information if you want to know awful pro-shipping is.

  • Toxic people in general

  • Opinion disrespectors: Especially if they’re strict and/or close minded.

  • Pretty much any other kind of problematic person

This will help you know more on who I am.SOME MORE FACTS ABOUT ME-The first video game that I've played is, of course, the original Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt, both for the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System), which was also the first video game system that I had in my life.-I'm a hardcore gamer who enjoys playing video games both old and new. I currently own and play the latest Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as computer games and various other games/systems that are too many to mention.-I've been a Star Fox fan since 1993 when the first game came out, but sadly, I was not able to play any game in the series until years later.-I have a daily schedule that I keep to myself. I usually draw during the day and play video games during the evening or night after dinner.-I'm aro ace (aromantic asexual) and proud of it. Don't worry, I'm not an incel.-I see fiction as fiction, and don't emulate what fictional characters do. Since I am only myself, no one else.-My art takes influence from Japanese anime/manga and western comic books.-Besides playing video games, I also look at videos on streaming websites like YouTube and Tubi on certain occasions. Collecting VHS tapes/DVDs/Blu-Ray are not my thing. (Even though I have a small collection of DVDs bought in the past, but I no longer buy DVDs.)-Since 2013, I buy my video games digitally rather than physically.-As much as I have likes and dislikes, I'm not afraid of pointing out the flaws, pros and cons of every movie, show, game and such.-I never grow out of anything that I actually like. I have a good memory and am known to preserve history.-I know a lot about obscure media and continues to do research on them.-Even though I dislike and boycott the Walt Disney Company, I respect those who like/support their works (After all, I can't control what other people like or dislike). It's just not my thing.-I think that The Lion King franchise is awful and deserves to have it's legacy be put to an end for good. I dislike for a legit reason: It glorifies genocide, name-calling, abuse and a negative depiction of entire animal species (the "good animals, evil animals" trope at it's absolute worst), plus it is derivative of other animated films at the time, and not in a good way. And news flash, I did not find Mufasa's death sad. (In fact, it's not sad at all because Mufasa is a fictional character, and a horrible one at that.) No offense to anyone who's a Lion King fan, but seriously, not all franchises have to be milked to death.-Despite being neutral to both films, I know a lot about both Gulliver's Travels (1939) and Mr. Bug Goes to Town (1941). It is because I remember watching a lot of the stuff made by Fleischer Studios/Famous Studios/Paramount Pictures (and old animated shorts in general, such as classic Looney Tunes/Warner Bros.) back when I was a child (and years later on YouTube out of curiosity). This is why some of them are often referenced in my pictures. Heck, you can say that I'm quite the popular culture historian, since I'm familiar with pretty much any movie, book, show, game, etc, old and new, regardless of what my opinion is.-I view live-action and animation equally, as I have no preference of one over the other. 3-D/CGI animation did not kill hand-drawn/2-D, since all forms of animation will always exist no matter the timeline. Begging for studios to bring back hand-drawn/2-D animation would be completely pointless.-I freaking dislike tier lists. I find them annoying for some reason and I try to treat everything as equal as possible, even though I have my likes and dislikes, too. (Seriously... How would you feel if someone made a tier list on real people and put you on the bottom worst? I also find tier lists to be mean if this is the case.)-I find Internet memes to be very funny. It's not uncommon for me to draw something based on a great Internet meme on occasion.-While I am good about handling different opinions of people and accept different political beliefs, I absolutely despise modern politics and political correctness because they ruin creativity and they try to rewrite history, which is not right. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy drawing satire and anti art a.k.a. catharsis.-When it comes to communicating, I have a preference to reading and writing over oral communication. I'm a strong, silent type who would remain extremely calm and collected, and I usually don't talk much unless I want to.-I take responsibility when it comes to surfing the Internet and am always careful. The same goes for video games.
